Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactOk. overall, this is Really good. There are some things I noticed and I'll do those first, cuz I like to end on a high note.
Ok. Number one: Shining Armor's eye is a wee bit too big for my taste. I think that if you move the eye a little more to the right and make it a bit smaller it might look better, like more Stalion-y. (cuz men's eyes look small on their faces than girl's do)
Number two: FOR ME! Because Chrysalis is the villain, I feel that her eyes should be a little more angular.... this is just me, that this with a grain of salt.
Now the the awesomeness.
The coloring is fantastic. Your color choice and technique is just "WOW!".
the line art and the pony anatomy is spot on, (much better than i can manage) and you can really feel the emotions of this piece.
