You know I love you and your work Chiaro, but this is the first time I've seen inconsistencies from your work. That being said, I appreciate the time consuming detail you put into the scales. It really shows that you cared about this piece, otherwise what would be the point. Also the fact that you did this traditionally is very refreshing, since this is the first Grownup Spike picture to-date that I have seen, that was traditional.

The impact and emotions we are supposed to feel in this scene are solid, and well done. Im enjoying the sheen from the detailing of the lower jaw and underbelly, and the lack of a solid ground or horizon line helps a little to suggest the gravity of the situation.
Unfortunately, the biggest distraction of this piece is that it has very inconsistent line-work that messes with your sense of foreground/background. On top of that The visual strength of the dark black lines on Spike's neck and shoulder give him the feel of being in the foreground, but his head and spikes and back are in the background, Having dark thick line-work on the tail was a perfect choice, and I'm sure many will agree. But you didn't apply the same lines to Rarity's outline making her look faded and in the background.

Im sorry to do this to you and I know that this took you a while, but I have to point this out to you.
